Nómada with Genesis Ceja

Genesis Ceja was born in Los Angeles, CA, transplanted to Ensenada, Baja California Mexico at the age of 12 and then moved to San Diego in 2008. 

Graduating with a degree in Culinary Arts in 2010, Genesis has been working in the hospitality industry ever since -from dishwasher to server, to bartender, barista, prep cook, line cook, caterer, baker, and bakery manager. 

Genesis moved to Wilmington, NC in June 2021 after a long drive from San Diego, CA which started in August 2020.   She is planning on opening up a business called Nómada Tortillería.
